Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee global employment law projects, collaborating with your Global Employment Law colleagues and ServiceNow's broader Legal and Global People teams. This includes initiatives addressing cutting-edge challenges, particularly in the AI domain.

- Deliver business-focused, risk-aware, actionable legal advice on a comprehensive range of global employment law matters that may emerge during M&A transactions, including deal structuring, due diligence, employee transfers, consultation obligations (including works councils), harmonization of employment terms and policies, lawful employee engagement across various jurisdictions, and employee separations.
- Draft employment agreements, separation agreements, non-compete agreements, and other employee-related documentation necessary for M&A transactions.
- Collaborate with and manage external legal counsel on M&A transaction matters.
- Work closely with the Global People organization from the inception of deals through post-acquisition integration to ensure alignment with legal requirements and ServiceNow's values.
- Engage with key stakeholders to develop and refine scalable and compliant processes and playbooks for M&A and post-acquisition integrations.
- When not focused on strategic projects and M&A, provide business-oriented, risk-based legal advice on a wide array of employment law issues, including hiring, separations, investigations, employee relations, restructurings, compensation and benefits, leaves of absence, DEI matters, and employee privacy.
- Contribute to the advancement of ServiceNow's Legal Services Delivery applications, where we envision, create, and implement workflows on the ServiceNow Platform to enhance the effectiveness of our and our clients' Legal departments.
Qualifications:
- A strong work ethic, exceptional judgment, and unwavering integrity.
- A Juris Doctor degree with strong academic credentials.
- A minimum of 4 years of employment law experience at a prestigious law firm or within the in-house legal department of a multinational corporation, including M&A experience; familiarity with employee-related AI and data privacy issues is a plus.
- Proven project management skills and experience in handling complex global employment law projects, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple competing priorities effectively.
- Strong relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders across various geographical locations.
- The capability to comprehend complex issues, evaluate risks, and provide concise, actionable, business-focused legal and risk mitigation advice.
- A demonstrated global perspective.
