Global Compliance Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our team at Douglas GmbH. As a key member of our Group Compliance Office, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our global compliance management program, ensuring that our business operations are in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance management program that addresses the requirements of the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LKSG) and other relevant regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support to our international teams and business partners to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Identify and mitigate potential compliance risks, including those related to human rights and sustainability.
  • Develop and maintain a robust compliance database and reporting system to ensure accurate and timely reporting to regulatory authorities.
  • Collaborate with our Human Rights Officer and management team to develop and implement strategies to promote human rights and sustainability within our organization.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, industry associations, and business partners, to ensure that our compliance program is aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree in law, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in compliance and risk management, preferably in an international environment.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to compliance and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
