Homologation Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Homologation Project Engineer to join our team at INEOS Automotive. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the compliance of our vehicles with regulatory standards across the globe.
Key Responsibilities- Homologation and Compliance: Support the homologation of all applicable policies, standards, and regulations, ensuring adherence to required automotive regulatory standards.
- Certification and Compliance Data: Manage the introduction of Grenadier in terms of Certification, gathering all self-certification reports from different partners.
- Regulatory Changes: Coordinate and advise on changes or notices regarding government regulatory changes, providing guidance and information on emission regulations and amendments.
- Compliance Documentation: Implement and maintain compliance data and create homologation documentation for the entry of target markets.
- Internal Policies and Processes: Support the creation and maintenance of internal policies and processes related to the application, implementation, enforcement, and audit of all policies, standards, and regulations.
- External Agency Coordination: Work with external agencies and government regulatory authorities to ensure compliance of products in respective markets where the products will be sold.
- Regulatory Approval: Prepare, review, and submit type regulatory approval documents and drawings to applicable regulatory bodies.
- Legislative Matters: Advise the Engineering team on current and future legislative matters relating to automotive design, manufacture, and functionality for respective markets.
- Compliance Monitoring: Monitor ongoing adherence of overall vehicle compliance to regulatory requirements.

Requirements- Automotive Homologation Experience: Strong knowledge and experience in automotive homologation/legislation environment with a manufacturing, OEM, or Tier 1 supplier.
- Technical Degree: A technical degree in Automotive Engineering or related areas.
- Design and Engineering Process: Direct knowledge of automotive design and engineering process, from concept to production.
- Technical Communications: High-level technical communications and negotiation with suppliers, engineering service providers, and partners.
- Regulatory Awareness: An understanding of the impact regulatory changes have on design, production, and profitability.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Language Skills: Able to communicate (written and verbally) in English and German, French, and/or Portuguese is advantageous.
