Position Overview: The Project Quality Engineer will oversee the product and process maturity across various projects, ensuring transparency regarding maturity levels and critical timelines for all stakeholders. In the event of deviations, the engineer will identify and implement corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that products meet quality standards throughout all project phases.
  • Assess risks associated with technical issues impacting the overall project.
  • Develop and maintain Project Maturity Risk Reports, presenting findings to management regularly.
  • Oversee the Quality Product Development Process (Q-PDP).
  • Act as the quality representative across all departments.
  • Facilitate lessons learned sessions and further development for the Product Development Process (PDP).
  • Prepare for product and overall maturity committees, including PVMM, Q-Approval, and delivery approval.
  • Coordinate overall vehicle quality approvals and releases.
  • Plan, organize, and conduct product and quality reviews for new projects, defining and reviewing corrective measures in case of deviations.
  • Manage quality risk assessments at the complete vehicle level.
  • Drive risk management evaluations to ensure product quality during development phases and safeguard customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Technical degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Quality Management within the Automotive Industry.
  • 3-5 years of experience in automotive new product projects, including strategy, engineering, operations, or quality.
  • Professional experience in launch processes and product development within the automotive sector.
  • Ability to establish new quality standards and project KPIs.
  • Strong technical understanding of the automotive industry.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • High empathy, effective communication, motivational skills, and adaptability to diverse situations.
  • Strong organizational skills and results-oriented mindset.
  • Assertiveness, diplomacy, and moderation capabilities.
  • Good analytical thinking skills.
  • Willingness to travel for business purposes.
