Key Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and develop team members to establish procurement excellence
- Develop commodity strategies for direct material procurement
- Collaborate with engineering teams to find technical solutions and negotiate contracts with suppliers
- Run and evaluate RFI/RFQs, negotiate contracts, and ensure contract management
- SOURCE FLYING MATERIAL WITHIN YOUR COMMODITY AND LEAD NEGOTIATIONS WITH YOUR TEAM, WHILE DEVELOPING AND MAINTAINING RELATIONSHIPS WITH EXISTING SUPPLIERS
- Implement processes, methods, and tools to deliver continuous cost improvements
- Minimum 5 years leadership experience in procurement or supplier management with focus on direct procurement, preferably in the aerospace industry
- Solid track record in commodity strategy implementation, contract management, and process development
- Pioneering spirit, collaboration, and cross-functional/cross-cultural work experience
- Master's degree in Economics, Business, Engineering, or similar
- Good command of MS-Office and ERP, preferably MS Dynamics 365 Business Central - Navision ERP
- Excellent command of spoken and written English, as well as German language skills
