Job Title: Desktop and Server Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop and Server Management Specialist to join our team at EuroCollab GmbH. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our desktop and server infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain Ivanti DSM agent installation and configuration
  • Implement and maintain DSM generalization and integration with other tools such as SNOW and AVD
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of depots and business logic server
  • Package and distribute software applications using Ivanti DSM
  • Manage software distribution, patches, and packages using Ivanti DSM
  • Implement and maintain advanced patch management for standard applications
  • Manage operating system deployment provisioning through DSM
  • Manage software distribution using DSM
  • Implement and maintain driver management, driver, bios, and firmware upgrades using Ivanti DSM
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line BAU support, including resolving P1 and P2 incidents and problem management
  • Discovery, analysis, and planning for deployment of Windows 10, Office 365 major updates, and other software wrappers via Ivanti DSM
  • Document systems, processes, and procedures
  • Coordinate with the client – L3 team in resolving and addressing escalations
  • Coordinate with ALM team for regular update of asset and software inventory onto CMDB
  • Provide full life-cycle service support
  • Automation evangelist
  • Provide out-of-hours support and on-call cover
  • Ensure adherence to Governance and Compliance requirements and perform reporting and reviewing activities
  • Support vendor in the Hardware selection process
Requirements:
  • Preferably Ivanti DSM certified
  • Scripting Skill (VBScript, PowerShell)
  • Knowledge of Azure WVD and Dell Wyse management
  • Development/Infrastructure amendments/Integrations to the DSM solution
