Position: Dispatcher for Small Cars and Trucks
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our small car and truck transport network.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement optimized transport processes to guarantee timely deliveries.
- Maintain constant communication with drivers throughout their shifts, addressing any scheduling issues promptly.
- Monitor traffic conditions (construction zones, accidents) to adjust schedules effectively.
- Communicate accurate transport data, including potential delays, to our valued customers.
- Handle all driver inquiries and escalate emergencies to the appropriate departments or authorities.
Qualifications
- Completed training in dispatch, logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in small car and truck dispatch operations.
- Comprehensive understanding of transport and logistics management principles.
- Exceptional organizational skills and strong communication abilities.
- Flexibility to work shifts and willingness to participate in rotational standby duty.
- Excellent German language skills; proficiency in English is advantageous.
