Inside Sales Representative

We're seeking a skilled Inside Sales Representative to join our sales team at Delve Search - Global Search Consultants. As a global leader in the supply of valves and fittings, we operate manufacturing facilities in Germany, the USA, and China, with sales and service centres located around the world.

The Role:

We're looking for a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to provide support to customers, handle inquiries, and drive sales. You'll work closely with both the sales team and engineering departments to provide technical support to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional support to customers, answering inquiries and addressing technical questions.
  • Assist in managing existing customer accounts, focusing on maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Visit customers occasionally if required.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, to provide technical solutions to customer requests.
  • Prepare and send quotations, proposals, and pricing information to customers based on their requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and leads within our CRM system.
  • Take part in trade shows if required. Assist the outside sales team in following up with leads and developing new business opportunities.
  • Support the preparation of technical documentation and product specifications for customer needs.

Your Profile:

  • A technical background with a degree or vocational qualification in Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
  • Experience in a technical sales role, inside sales, or customer support role within industries such as valves, fluid control systems, instrumentation, or similar fields.
  • Good understanding of technical concepts and the ability to communicate these to customers in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on building positive customer relationships.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive attitude, detail-oriented, keen to learn and develop within the role.
