As a Lead User Experience Designer at Sumup, you will be instrumental in shaping the global activation and onboarding experience for our users. Your primary goal will be to create a welcoming and intuitive journey for users across various platforms, ensuring compliance with legal and business standards in diverse markets. By designing engaging and user-friendly experiences, you will empower small business owners around the world to save time, reduce costs, and effectively grow their businesses.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design of onboarding and activation experiences for new users on both mobile and web platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance and consistency across different regions.
  • Convert legal and business requirements into practical design solutions.
  • Refine designs based on user feedback and behavioral insights.
  • Promote onboarding best practices to ensure a unified user experience.
  • Establish strong relationships with stakeholders at both local and global levels.

Your Profile:

  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI Design across various platforms.
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Strong skills in collaboration and stakeholder management.
  • Proficient in storytelling to craft compelling user experiences.
  • Effective communication skills with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • BA or MA in Design or a related field.
