As a joint venture between Neometals Ltd. and SMS group GmbH, we leverage the expertise of both partners to develop innovative recycling technologies.
**Your Role as Product Manager**
As a Product Manager for Li-Battery Recycling, you will be responsible for the technical development and engineering of our recycling products. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Defining the product vision and strategy, and communicating it to stakeholders
- Creating and maintaining the product development roadmap, prioritizing features and refining the product backlog
- Ensuring engineering, supply chain, and site support for projects in execution, meeting contractual requirements
- Coordinating basic and detail engineering as applicable
- Supporting business development and sales teams in evaluating potential innovations and benchmarking competition's portfolio
- Driving selected innovations from concept to industrialized solution, collaborating with R&D and project management
- Standardizing processes to reduce total project costs and customer operational expenses, starting from technical process optimization to basic engineering and vendor selection
**Requirements and Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- An engineering degree above average, preferably in mechanical and/or process engineering
- Excellent conceptual and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with disciplines outside your field
- Technical background or understanding of recycling equipment and technologies is a plus
- Proven experience in engineering, product ownership, or similar roles in product management, preferably in the recycling or environmental sector
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively, with good verbal and written communication skills in German and English
- High social competence, resilience, and a willingness to travel
