Overview:
We are seeking a skilled professional in the field of Electrical Engineering to take on the role of an Electronics Technician specializing in Offshore Cable Technology. This position plays a crucial role in the successful management and enhancement of cable systems within the Offshore energy sector.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain and ensure the operational readiness of Offshore network connection systems.
- Plan, implement, and oversee maintenance activities for both Onshore and Offshore cable infrastructures.
- Uphold safety standards and environmental regulations throughout all operations.
- Coordinate efforts between external contractors and internal personnel to achieve project goals.
- Engage in projects aimed at expanding network capabilities.
- Review technical documentation and supervise the execution of projects.
- Facilitate technical training and safety briefings for team members.
- Participate in on-call duty for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
Qualifications:
- Completed education as a master technician or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology.
- Proven experience in High or Medium Voltage Cable Technology.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies and procedures.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
- Meet health requirements necessary for Offshore operations.
- Fluency in English and German (minimum B2 level).
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
Additionally, familiarity with SAP, database management, and MS Office applications will be considered a significant advantage. This role offers flexible working hours, promoting a balanced work-life integration and the potential for remote work arrangements.
