We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled PhD researcher to join our team at Siemens AG. As a Data Scientist for User Experience, you will have the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge PhD thesis in the field of Data Science, User & Usage Feedback Mining, Machine Learning / Deep Learning, Crowd RE.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and validate KPI's for quantifying the value-add of a combined analysis of explicit user feedback (user reviews) and implicit usage tracking data
  • Analysis and comparison of best-in-class data analytics tools in the market while gathering hands-on experience in real project environments allowing a thorough understanding of state-of-the-art solutions
  • Identification of appropriate use cases for Siemens business
  • Identification of opportunities, where analysis of user & usage feedback data can lead to a better user experience of Siemens offerings
  • Definition of scientific hypotheses
  • Synthetization of gained insights into solutions (walking skeleton)

Requirements:

  • You have proven experience in a scripting language (e.g. Python), as well as in well-known AI libraries
  • You provide good teamwork and communication skills, as well as an independent and structured way of working
  • You are business fluent in German and English
  • Furthermore, you have a strong commitment and feel comfortable with handling innovative topics
