Export and Customs Specialist

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the complete order management process from confirmation through to delivery.
  • Facilitate both domestic and international shipments across various transportation modes.
  • Ensure compliance with national regulations, accreditation standards, and hazardous materials guidelines throughout the shipping process.
  • Manage customs documentation and procedures using ATLAS.
  • Prepare and oversee logistics service tenders effectively.
Qualifications
  • Completed vocational training, ideally as a freight forwarding specialist, with additional qualifications in export.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in both national and international freight logistics.
  • Certification in handling hazardous goods for road, sea, and air transport is a plus.
  • Fluent in German and English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Navision is beneficial.
  • Demonstrates an independent, dependable, and adaptable work approach.
  • Possesses strong negotiation capabilities.
