The successful candidate will be a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our data processing systems, handling anomalies, and implementing configuration changes for off-line systems.
Key Responsibilities- Data Processing Software Systems Development, Maintenance, and Operations Support
- Contribute to the Configuration Management process and the building and distribution of software releases
- Investigate, document, fix, and resolve system anomalies within a formal configuration-controlled development environment
- Attend technical meetings and formal reviews, such as checkpoint meetings, PDR, CDR, acceptance reviews, TRRs, and TRBs
- Coordinate/inputs to system release planning and preparation, including new/upgraded components
- Maintain the status of actions assigned via internal issue tracking tools or ticketing systems like JIRA
- Solid software maintenance and software development experience
- Experience with C++ and Java troubleshooting
- Software maintenance or development, formal software testing, and system integration
- Excellent technical writing skills used in formal technical documentation (e.g. requirements specification and design documentation, test plans and procedures, maintenance procedures)
- Source code management systems (e.g. Subversion and Git)
- Analysis, debugging, profiling, fixing, and processing of software flaws
- Programming and scripting languages (C++, JAVA)
