Software Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Ground Station Software & System Engineer to join our international team in Darmstadt, Germany.
Key Responsibilities:- Support software activities for ground segment developments in Software and Monitoring and Control (M&C) related to ground stations.
- Follow up on detailed design, development activities, integration, and testing during Phase C/D of future ground segments in ground stations software and M&C systems.
- Test and validate new software and databases releases.
- Maintain ground stations automated procedures and related databases.
- Operate and maintain EUMETSAT Ground Stations in software systems, transfer protocol for spacecraft telemetry, telecommand, and mission data.
- University Degree or equivalent in computer science, aerospace engineering, or a relevant field.
- At least 4 years of proven experience in ground segment engineering on a system software level, preferably on ground stations monitoring and control.
- Experience in Monitoring & Control software application maintenance and configuration.
- Experience in Linux/Windows operating system.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
