Inventory Coordinator

About the Role:
SMP is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our production preparation team, you will be responsible for coordinating the procurement and management of production materials, equipment, and spare parts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective inventory management systems to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate the procurement of production materials, equipment, and spare parts.
- Monitor and analyze production schedules and inventory levels to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and equipment.
- Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a maintenance or inventory management role.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
