Production Planner

About the Role:

SMP is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our production preparation team, you will be responsible for coordinating the procurement and management of production materials, equipment, and spare parts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective inventory management systems to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate the procurement of production materials, equipment, and spare parts.
• Monitor and analyze production schedules and inventory levels to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and equipment.
• Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a production or maintenance environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP, with experience in inventory management systems a plus.
