Position Overview: Construction Trainee at STRABAG
- Embark on a two-year apprenticeship where you will gain hands-on experience in the construction and enhancement of roadways, pathways, and public squares.
- Develop proficiency in operating a variety of tools and construction machinery, including but not limited to jackhammers, compactors, and surveying instruments.
- Engage in earthmoving activities utilizing construction equipment while ensuring the safety of excavation sites and trenches.
- Learn the proper handling and application of construction materials such as asphalt, concrete, timber, and steel, alongside interpreting construction plans and blueprints.
- Become acquainted with essential safety protocols and operational procedures within the construction environment.
- With commitment and enthusiasm, you can progress to a qualified road builder upon completion of your training.
Candidate Profile
- You possess good manual skills, a keen interest in technical subjects, and strong spatial awareness.
- A secondary school diploma or equivalent educational background is required, with a preference for candidates who have an affinity for mathematics.
- A genuine interest in the construction sector and a preference for engaging in practical, outdoor work are essential.
- You thrive in collaborative settings and are eager to contribute to team efforts.
- Reliability and attention to detail are paramount in your approach to work.
