About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team at Kaufland e-commerce. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in the development of scalable web applications. Your primary focus will be on building high-performing teams, removing roadblocks, and helping others grow professionally.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers in the development of scalable web applications
  • Build high-performing teams and remove roadblocks to ensure successful project delivery
  • Help engineers grow professionally and personally, inspiring them through purpose
  • Leverage new technology within product teams to build products customers love and work for the business
  • Ensure delivery of products while balancing time, budget, and quality
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives that are larger than your team(s), such as raising the engineering bar and improving guidelines

Requirements
  • Experience in cross-functional product teams and scalable web application engineering
  • Proven track record as an Engineering Manager, solving engineering problems with the right tools and frameworks
  • Outstanding sense of ownership, passion, and drive, bringing energy to the team
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in a remote setup
  • Experience in a management role, building successful teams and growing in the role of an Engineering Manager
  • Natural go-to-person within the organization, mentoring other engineers and helping them grow and succeed
