We are seeking a highly qualified Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the ifo Institut - Leibniz-Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung an der Universität München e.V. in Munich, Germany.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research in the field of economics of migration and integration, as well as development economics
- Contribute to solutions for current societal challenges with applied econometric analyses
- Conceive, acquire, manage, and work on third-party funded projects
- Guide doctoral candidates and publish research results in internationally recognized peer-reviewed journals
- Making research results accessible to the general public
- PhD in economics with a focus on the economics of migration, labor economics, applied microeconomics, or a related field
- Proven knowledge and experience in microeconometrics and applied economics
- Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of the German language is an advantage
- Team player with a strong drive to further their own research agenda
The ifo Institut is one of the leading economic research institutes in Europe, working on issues relevant to economics and economic policy at the highest scientific level and with an international reach. What We Offer- Initial three-year employment contract with the option to be extended
- Salary according to TV-L E 13 or E 14 (around 63,000 EUR incl. special annual payment)

- Relocation allowance after passing the probationary period
- Support with German courses if needed
