Are you a recent graduate eager to dive into the dynamic world of mergers and acquisitions? Join our team at KPMG as a (Junior) M&A Associate Consultant, where you will collaborate with esteemed clients on the buying and selling of companies or business units. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in funding rounds, acquisitions, corporate financing, and IPOs across various sectors.

Your Responsibilities
Utilize your economic expertise and analytical skills to drive successful transactions for our clients throughout all phases of the process. Your contributions will include:

  • Providing essential M&A advisory services, such as preparing sales documents, identifying and approaching potential buyers or targets, and analyzing business plans. You will also conduct strategic corporate analyses and facilitate the structured execution of M&A transactions, capital market processes, and financing while coordinating various stakeholders.
  • Assisting clients in the analysis, design, and development of operational and financial (valuation) models to support their M&A initiatives.
  • Engaging directly in the initiation and structuring of complex transactions across diverse sectors, including automotive, technology, energy, industrials, logistics, consumer goods, and financial services, while maintaining direct contact with senior management.
  • Becoming part of a dynamic, highly motivated, multidisciplinary team that fosters rapid learning of both sector-specific knowledge and interdisciplinary expertise, promoting your overall development.
  • Receiving recognition for your ambition and initiative, with opportunities for early responsibility within the team, supported by practical training and mentorship for any inquiries you may have.

Your Profile

  • You have successfully completed your studies in economics or a related dual program, focusing on areas such as corporate finance, accounting, or controlling (Bachelor/Master).
  • Through internships or early career experiences, you have gained relevant insights into the field.
  • You are proficient in standard MS Office applications, particularly advanced in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ideally, you have experience with relevant M&A databases.
  • You are fluent in both German and English (C1 level) and can communicate effectively in writing.
  • Your work style is characterized by diligence and independence.
