Job Title: Flooring Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at U.S. Army Europe and Africa. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for laying out, planning, and completing flooring assignments in a variety of settings, including office buildings, warehouses, and storage areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lay out and plan flooring assignments, working alone or as part of a team
  • Apply a range of flooring and carpentry skills and techniques to repair, construct, remodel, and maintain wooden structures
  • Use hand and power tools to complete assignments
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 30 months of vocational training in a relevant trade
  • 5 years of specialized experience in a related field
  • Completed vocational training in a relevant trade, plus 2 years of experience at a comparable level of difficulty
  • 8 years of specialized experience, with at least 3 years at a comparable level of difficulty
  • A valid German driver's license (Class B)
  • English language proficiency level A1 and German language proficiency level B2
