Job Title: Flooring Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at U.S. Army Europe and Africa. As a senior journeyman floorer, you will be responsible for laying out, planning, and accomplishing assignments related to flooring and carpentry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply the full range of flooring/carpentry skills and techniques in repairing, constructing, remodeling, and maintaining wooden structures in office buildings, warehouses, and storage areas, troop housing, and technical and shop structures.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools in accomplishing assignments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • A4-5: Completed vocational training of at least 30 months in the appropriate trade, or 5 years of specialized experience.
  • A4-6: Completed vocational training in the appropriate trade PLUS 2 years experience at a level of difficulty comparable to the Wage Group 5 or equivalent, or 8 years of specialized experience of which 3 years must have been performed at the wage group 5 or equivalent level.
  • Bewerber müssen den Führerschein Klasse B besitzen. (Applicants must be in possession of a German driver's license class B.)
  • Englischlevel A1 UND Deutschlevel B2 erforderlich. (English Language Proficiency Level A1 AND German Language Proficiency Level B2 required.)
