Ships' Control Systems and Components Type Approval Specialist

DNV is seeking a talented engineer to join our team in Germany, focusing on ships' Control and Fire Systems. As a Type Approval Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of maritime operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform approval of components and integrated systems in accordance with international requirements and standards from IMO, IEC, ISO, and DNV rules.
- Support customers with testing and design review.
- Manage approval projects towards customers and be part of testing and verification with equipment manufacturers in a fast-paced international maritime and naval industry.
- Support DNV's local stations and sales force around the world and be involved in sales processes.

We are looking for a team player passionate about solving challenges and creating results in a supportive team environment. You should have a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering and experience or interest in instrumentation, complex integrated systems, sensors, electronics, testing, simulations, and Human-Machine Interface, including control and monitoring systems. Industry experience in the Maritime, Offshore, or Energy sectors would be an advantage.
