Our team takes pride in positively impacting lives through our work. We seek individuals like you to help us achieve this goal.

Job Overview:

Acts as the main liaison for clients in the establishment of new accounts for CSA Group within the Hazardous Locations and Manufacturing Equipment sector (producers of items utilized in explosive environments or within the Industrial control & automation domain).

Engages in identifying potential clients, nurturing leads, and formulating new account strategies to secure partnerships with manufacturing firms operating in the Industrial control and automation or explosion protection sectors that are not currently affiliated with CSA Group. Expands the client base by leveraging company research tools and existing client relationships, defining value from the prospect's perspective, prioritizing leads, and crafting prospecting call strategies. Develops customer profiles that clarify why prospects are not currently utilizing CSA, thereby effectively addressing customer challenges and articulating CSA's value proposition to secure their business.

Key Responsibilities:

Cultivates new client relationships to achieve personal sales objectives, highlighting the comprehensive value chain of CSA Group services, particularly concerning hazardous locations or industrial applications. Independently seeks out new clients within designated regions, employing various lead generation and direct outreach techniques. Sales targets for prospecting, quoting, and overall performance are established annually. Reconnects with previous CSA Group clients who have transitioned to other agencies to attempt to regain their business. Develops strategies for clients currently engaged with CSA Group competitors, facilitating their transition to CSA Group. Prepares detailed written proposals outlining service costs for clients, collaborating with Technical Specialists and Operations personnel. Engages in industry associations and external organizations as deemed appropriate by management. Provides regular written updates on calls, client interactions, proposals, quotes, expenses, travel, and trade show activities, along with oral presentations as necessary. Analyzes industry reports, territory databases, and external competitive data to develop territory assessments or contribute insights for presentations and reporting to management.

Qualifications:

Commercially adept in the realm of hazardous locations or Industrial TIC sales. Demonstrated sales experience within the Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) sector in hazardous locations or the Industrial market, with strong connections in these industries and a proven history of acquiring new business. Solid commercial knowledge in areas such as ATEX Directive, IECEx Scheme, UKEx, North American hazardous location approvals, or industrial control/automation compliance. Previous experience with sales CRM tracking software is advantageous. Proven capability to consistently surpass sales objectives. Experience engaging with large organizations at senior levels. Ability to create clear, effective, and professional written communications and presentations. Competence in developing, preparing, and executing complex business strategies while managing multiple projects and responsibilities. Strong initiative and capacity to cultivate new client relationships. Creativity and project management skills to plan for projects, events, and conferences. High level of initiative and motivation to achieve or exceed targeted goals with minimal oversight. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM database applications. Responsive and amiable when interacting with external and internal clients, colleagues, and team members. Some travel required (client meetings, trade shows, visiting CSA Group offices). Valid driver's license.
