Emerging Venture Scout Intern

With approximately €400 million in assets under management, we typically invest between €500,000 and €10 million initially, with the potential to extend up to €30 million per company. Your MissionIn this role, you will play a crucial part in identifying and evaluating promising early-stage startups across Europe. Your contributions will be essential in uncovering the next big opportunities in the market. Responsibilities include:
- Identifying Founders: Discover and engage with the most exciting entrepreneurs, persuading them of our value proposition.
- Supporting Investment Initiatives: Collaborate closely with our investment team, acting as a bridge between startups and our investors.
- Presenting Opportunities: Pitch the most promising startups weekly, gaining valuable exposure to our partners.
- Building Relationships: Cultivate and maintain meaningful connections within our networks, enhancing our partner ecosystem.
- Participating in Events: Attend startup conferences and pitch events to scout for exceptional founding teams and represent our firm.
- Driving Deal Sourcing: Innovate and implement new strategies to enhance our outbound deal sourcing processes.
- You embody an entrepreneurial spirit and are enthusiastic about representing our firm.
- You possess strong networking skills and ideally have an established network within the startup ecosystem.
- You are curious, open-minded, and enjoy facilitating connections among people.
- You have a genuine interest in learning and are proactive in challenging and improving existing processes.
- Previous hands-on experience with startups or in the venture capital space is preferred.
- You are currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree with a strong academic record at a recognized university (e.g., engineering, sciences, business, finance, economics, or related fields).
- Mentorship: Pairing with a senior member of our investment team for regular one-on-one sessions throughout the program.
- Coaching: Weekly dedicated sessions with an investment team member for guidance and support.
- VC Trainee Program: A unique 10-month program covering all facets of venture capital investing.
- Ownership: Responsibility for the outbound deal sourcing process, a vital aspect of our operations.
