About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Test Engineer to join our team at Molex Deutschland GmbH. As a key member of our validation team, you will be responsible for developing and executing validation test plans, designing and implementing testing methods, and collaborating with internal and external suppliers to ensure successful product validation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute validation test plans aligned with customer specifications
  • Design and implement testing methods, devices, and test fixtures to meet customer and product requirements
  • Collaborate with internal and external suppliers to facilitate validation testing needs
  • Communicate validation testing activities status to internal and external customers
  • Manage databases for validation activities, including tracking tests, results, and validation SharePoint
  • Review test lab reports from internal and external test labs
  • Prepare and submit validation test reports and present test results to customers
  • Identify failures, file observations, and troubleshoot mechanical failures
  • Work with cross-functional team members to support root-cause analysis
  • Analyze test results and the effect of material properties, geometry, and test conditions
Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
  • First experience in mechanical or electrical testing/validation engineering
  • Understanding of mechanical engineering concepts, including component behavior under various static, impact, fatigue load, and thermal loads
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English
What We Offer
  • Experience in environmental testing is beneficial
  • Experience in EMC/ESD testing is beneficial
  • Advanced computer skills and knowledge of CAD (NX, Catia, and/or SolidWorks) is beneficial
  • Experience in the automotive industry is a plus
  • Experience in RF Antenna area is a plus
