About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our Energy from Waste and Carbon Capture team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading project execution, ensuring strong internal and external collaboration, developing strong relationships with clients, growing our business and geographical footprint, and strengthening our reputation as a trusted advisor to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage large and complex international projects, including design and engineering management, tender document preparation, tender evaluation, and contractor management.
  • Lead small- and medium-scale domestic and international projects and studies, working closely with technical experts to deliver client satisfaction.
  • Take ownership and responsibility of project management, adhering to international standards, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing risks and challenges.
  • Foster strategic relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners to enhance project outcomes and promote sustainable practices.
  • Continuously develop technical knowledge and insight through projects and participation in technical competence teams.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance on technical and commercial matters.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership on advancing our position in the energy transition market.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (thermal energy, process, or mechanical) or a related field.
  • Proven track record (10+ years) of working experience in the thermal energy sector, with engineering and project management tasks. Experience in energy from waste and carbon capture is an advantage.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and contractors.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in project management tools and software, with a keen eye for incorporating sustainable practices.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an advantage.
  • Excellent spoken and written English and German.
  • Will to travel to meetings and projects in Scandinavia and abroad.
