We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team at Schwarz Dienstleistungen, a leading provider of cloud and colocation services in Europe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud commerce platform, which is a critical component of our business.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based systems and applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technical solutions
- Develop and maintain high-quality code, following industry best practices and standards
- Participate in code reviews and ensure that all code is thoroughly tested and validated
- Work closely with our product teams to ensure seamless integration with our existing systems and applications
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, system designs, and technical specifications
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve our systems and applications
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on cloud-based systems and applications
- Strong background in programming languages such as Go, Java, Kotlin, or Rust
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, and Helm
- Knowledge of database systems, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Experience with event-based systems and related technologies
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including scalability, security, and high availability
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions
