International Project Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee intricate projects on a global scale, including both internal and external collaborations, particularly in the extensive construction phases related to the electromechanical systems of hydropower facilities within the Large Hydro Power sector.
  • Ensure adherence to contractual obligations (including bid and contract evaluations) while meeting defined project goals concerning budget, timelines, and quality through effective leadership and oversight of a multidisciplinary project team.
  • Manage changes and claims, alongside project-specific opportunities and risks, acting as a liaison among clients, consortium partners, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Supervise critical technological factors and interpret specifications and contracts accurately.
  • Address project progress deviations and manage, as well as document, project modifications.
  • Organize and maintain project documentation efficiently.

Candidate Profile

  • A degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Several years of experience managing international projects with complex contractual frameworks, particularly in the construction sector.
  • Proficient in SAP, MS Office, and various project management software.
  • Fluency in French and/or English is essential; knowledge of German is advantageous.
  • A structured and goal-oriented approach to work.
  • A dedicated individual with exceptional communication and negotiation skills, capable of finding solutions even in challenging situations.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
