Job Summary:

M.C. Dean is seeking a highly skilled Construction Surveillance Specialist to join our team. As a Construction Surveillance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical inspections of individuals and vehicles seeking access to the site to ensure compliance with security protocols.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of materials and tools entering the site to identify potential security threats.
  • Perform access control functions at all site entry points, ensuring only authorized personnel have access.
  • Assist with material inspections at secure storage areas and escort inspected materials to the construction site as needed.
  • Report incidents and anomalies to the CST Team Lead and participate in daily coordination meetings.
  • Support the documentation of reported incidents and maintain detailed logs of construction activities.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on construction progress, compliance issues, and security breaches.

Requirements:

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of four years of experience in construction security, physical security, industrial security, or government security.
  • Top Secret clearance required.

Desired Skills:

  • Previous experience as a Construction Surveillance Specialist at overseas or domestic project sites.

Abilities:

  • Lifts at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period.
  • Relocates a 12-foot stepladder without assistance.
  • Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and all types of ladders.
  • Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls, and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis.
  • Possesses good vision, the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English.

The Construction Surveillance Specialist will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with frequent exposure to varying weather conditions. The ability to work in a team environment and maintain a high level of attention to detail is essential.
