Senior Financial Manager

**Job Summary**

As a Senior Financial Manager - Mergers and Acquisitions at METRO GROUP, you will play a crucial role in the success of our international M&A projects. Your focus will be on diverse and complex finance-related tasks, making a decisive contribution to the company's growth strategy.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage the financial workstream on M&A projects, coordinating with various departments and building a broad network within the Group.
  • Conduct financial due diligence processes, coordinate with external advisors, and prepare purchase price mechanisms.
  • Analyze business plans and valuation models, prepare scenario calculations, and support valuations and PPAs.
  • Assess strategic projects in terms of their benefits for METRO's relevant performance indicators and make recommendations for decisions.
  • Forecast the effects of transactions on METRO's key financial indicators and create simulations and integrated financial models.
  • Draft and negotiate relevant sections in SPAs.

**Requirements**

  • At least five years of professional experience in a transaction-related environment, preferably in transaction advisory services of a consulting company.
  • Familiarity with M&A processes and associated financial matters.
  • Graduated in Finance with an above-average degree.
  • Strong analytical skills, enabling you to comprehend the significance of individual key figures and their interrelations for the entire METRO Group.
  • Leadership qualities, with the ability to manage stakeholders and partners without a direct reporting line.
  • Fluent in business English; proficiency in other languages is considered advantageous.
