Innovation Ventures Consultant

The Programa Mundial de Alimentos (WFP) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of Innovation Ventures Consultant in the Innovation Division, based in Munich, Germany.
Key Responsibilities- Support the planning and implementation of core accelerator activities, including content design, operational coordination, and facilitation of boot camps, workshops, and other innovation support activities.
- Coordinate the start-up/innovation sourcing process, including innovation challenges, pipeline sharing, active scouting, and matching start-ups/projects with WFP Country Offices, HQ units, or Regional Bureaux and external organizations.
- Drive innovations/new ventures (internal and external) to potentially scale and advance towards Zero Hunger and the Sustainable Development Goals, including supporting and coaching project teams from ideation to implementation, advising and supporting innovation teams on key decisions, and defining key performance indicators and milestones.
- Support the overall Innovation Accelerator operations, including providing analysis and content preparation for corporate priority topics and management meetings, participating in discussions with colleagues and external stakeholders, and supporting other core processes of the Innovation Accelerator.
- Bachelor's degree in business, international development, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of progressively responsible international experience in a start-up leadership role, start-up accelerator, innovations in private businesses, or innovations in the humanitarian or international development sector.
- Fluency in oral and written English is mandatory. Intermediate knowledge of another official UN language or Portuguese is considered advantageous.
- Strong conceptual thinking, ability to interact with a broad range of stakeholders, excellent communication and presentation skills, collaborative spirit, self-motivation, and ability to work with a high degree of autonomy.
