Job Title: Chief Information Security Officer

Are you a seasoned IT security professional looking for a new challenge? We're seeking a highly skilled Chief Information Security Officer to join our team at THRYVE.

About the Role

As our Chief Information Security Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our information security and data protection policies. You will oversee all security-related IT processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations such as GDPR and ISO 27001.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive security strategy to protect company data.
  • Lead the IT security team, directly managing experienced security experts.
  • Identify and analyze potential threats, and plan and execute preventive measures.
  • Monitor regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to standards like GDPR, IT Security Act, and ISO 27001.
  • Lead in analyzing and addressing security incidents.
  • Organize internal security training and workshops for employees.
  • Collaborate with external partners and consultants in IT security and data protection.
Requirements
  • Several years of experience in a senior role in information security, ideally as a CISO or similar position.
  • Deep knowledge of IT security standards and regulations.
  • Experience in building and managing IT security architectures and strategies.
  • Strong analytical thinking skills and the ability to assess and mitigate complex security risks.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical content across all levels of the organization.
  • Fluent in both German and English, spoken and written.
