Information Security Officer

Oetker Digital GmbH is seeking a highly skilled (Senior) Information Security Officer to join our team in Berlin. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring a comprehensive information security and IT risk management program.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a strategic information security program aligned with the Oetker Group-wide security directive
- Manage and assist in the development and implementation of information security policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Provide guidance and counsel to senior management and staff on information security and its alignment with business objectives and risk management
- Work directly with business units to facilitate risk assessment and risk management processes
- Oversee incident response planning and investigation of security breaches
- Manage the daily operation and execution of information security, disaster recovery, and IT risk management
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Fluent in English and German (mandatory for this role)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in a combination of risk management, information security, and IT jobs
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong detail orientation
- Outstanding communication abilities, capable of effectively articulating complex technical information to non-technical audiences
- Experience with contract and vendor negotiations and management, including managed services
- Knowledgeable with various information security frameworks and compliance practices specific to the food and beverage industry
- Experience with Cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) security
- Professional certification in information security (CISSP, CISM, etc.) are welcome
