The Product Insights Team plays a crucial role in shaping product strategy and fostering innovation by delivering actionable insights regarding user behavior and product performance, which are essential for organizational success. Our diverse group of data experts is located in multiple cities, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and business partners to significantly influence product trajectories. We work alongside a broader data community, including data engineers, data scientists, and machine learning specialists, to exchange knowledge and skills.
As a member of the Product Insights Team, you will have the chance to work with extensive, rich user interaction data, participate in comprehensive product development cycles, tackle intricate product challenges, and learn from seasoned data professionals.
The primary responsibilities of the Product Insights Team include:
- Product Objectives & Metrics: Establishing a framework for product metrics and quarterly objectives to define success.
- Monitoring & Quality Assurance: Identifying key user behaviors for tracking and collaborating with engineers on implementation and quality checks.
- Data Processing & Reporting: Creating data pipelines and user-friendly dashboards.
- Experimentation: Designing, implementing, and analyzing A/B tests for hypothesis validation and impact assessment.
- Exploratory Analysis: Extracting insights from data to inform product strategy and development roadmap.
- A degree or higher in statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, or a related field.
- Over 3 years of experience in Product Insights, Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics, or similar data-focused roles.
- Proficient in SQL for data analysis (experience with BigQuery is advantageous).
- Skilled in at least one data visualization tool, such as Looker Studio, Tableau, QlikView, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
- Experience handling large-scale user data (transactional, clickstream, etc.).
- Strong background in statistics, with hands-on experience in designing and executing A/B tests at scale.
- Familiarity with user behavior tracking platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe, MixPanel, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills to convey analytical findings to relevant stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a diverse environment and is committed to delivering measurable outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data pipeline tools such as Airflow or DBT.
- Knowledge of machine learning, recommendation systems, or ranking algorithms.
- Experience in a fast-paced and evolving product development environment.
