Technical Product Marketing Manager

The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Product Marketing Manager to drive the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for our commercetools Platform. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping the future of e-commerce and developing a deep understanding of our customers and users.

Your Mission
  1. Develop a comprehensive understanding of our customers and users to inform product innovation and roadmap prioritization.
  2. Refine the differentiated messaging and positioning of our commercetools Platform to drive thought leadership and revenue growth.
  3. Own the joint value proposition for commercetools and key infrastructure partners.
  4. Develop a deep understanding of our customers and users of our commercetools integrations and connectors.
  5. Collaborate with multiple teams on new capabilities and solutions launches.
  6. Influence cross-functionally to drive alignment on strategy, narrative, and priorities.
  7. Develop sales collateral and partner with Sales Enablement to support global sales effectively and at scale.
  8. Cultivate storytelling skills to amplify differentiated narratives through campaigns, customer conversations, and events.
  9. Identify market opportunities through an understanding of industry, customer, and competitive trends.
What You Need to Succeed
  1. 4+ years of experience in product marketing or technical marketing.
  2. Experience working in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional, and global organization.
  3. A strategic thinker with a deep product knowledge and ability to highlight key product differentiators.
  4. Ability to enable and educate internal audiences to drive meaningful and actionable content.
  5. Strong verbal and written communication skills, specifically in creative storytelling and presentations.
  6. Ability to work independently to obtain results.
  7. Excellent project management skills.
Nice to Have
  1. Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, MS Azure).
  2. Familiarity with the ecosystem of commerce platforms (SAP Hybris/Commerce Cloud, Shopify, etc.).
