Join our EU Operational Risk and Internal Controls Team:
The Operational Risk and Internal Controls Team is ideal for individuals eager to collaborate with various products and teams, possessing a strong desire to continuously enhance and innovate within the risk assessment and control landscape. We are passionate about our business and enabling its growth in a compliant manner that mitigates risk.
Responsibilities:
Operational Risk and Internal Controls Management: Assist in tasks related to Risk and Controls assessment, including mapping risks and controls, testing, registering, and maintaining the registers updated in the system, and monitoring the remediation plans until their implementation. Policies and Procedures Management: Aid in keeping the policies and procedures current. Ensure they are approved, if necessary, and accessible to stakeholders. Incident Management Support: Assist in managing incident data, including coordinating response efforts, communicating with stakeholders, and contributing to post-incident analysis. Stakeholder Communication: Act as a key liaison between the risk management function and other internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and address concerns. Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for enhancing operational risk management and internal control processes based on insights from daily activities.Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related fields. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. A minimum of 2 years of experience in Operational Risk, Internal Controls, Audit, or related fields. A proactive approach to teamwork, taking initiative, and demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility. The ability to identify, escalate, and communicate problems to management in an effective and professional manner. Strong analytical skills.Why Join SumUp?
