Data Center Security Specialist

A100 ROW GmbH is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Center Security Specialist (DSS) to play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our data centers in Berlin.
As a DSS, you will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day security operations, collaborating with various stakeholders, and implementing strategies to maintain a secure environment. Your expertise will contribute directly to safeguarding our critical infrastructure and upholding the highest security standards.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Excellence: Oversee daily security activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the data center.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Operations and Safety managers to coordinate facility operations and maintain a secure environment.
- Security Provider Management: Provide guidance and leadership to contract security personnel, evaluating their performance and service delivery.
- Data-Driven Insights: Analyze data to identify trends, measure improvements, and drive process optimization within the security framework.
- Policy Implementation: Assist in developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and protocols aligned with global best practices.
- Incident Response: Handle escalations, resolve security-related issues, and contribute to effective incident response strategies.
- Communication & Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations on the status of physical security operations, effectively communicating key findings to management.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a proven track record in security operations. The ideal candidate possesses:
- 1+ year of experience working in a standards-based security and safety professional work environment.
- 1+ year of experience collecting, analyzing, and utilizing data to drive process and system improvement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English.
- Ability to travel between local sites as needed.
- Valid driver's license. This position requires driving a personal vehicle between company locations regularly.
