About the Role:
The Marketing and Business Development Executive will be instrumental in crafting and implementing the marketing and business development strategy for Fragomen's German practice. This newly established position will collaborate closely with the Senior Marketing and Business Development Director and the Frankfurt Partners, offering an exciting opportunity for professional growth in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
As the Marketing and Business Development Executive for the German practice, your responsibilities will include:
- Gaining a comprehensive understanding of Fragomen's German practice and market, aligning with the Business Development plan's key focus areas and priorities.
- Collaborating with the German Partners to advance growth and visibility initiatives, with support from the Senior Marketing and Business Development Manager as needed.
- Identifying potential business opportunities with new and existing clients through thorough market research and monitoring client, sector, and competitor developments.
- Maintaining the marketing content calendar and pinpointing key trends and topics for marketing campaigns, working closely with the Comms/PR/social media team to enhance visibility and profile-raising efforts.
- Developing and sustaining marketing materials for the German practice and ensuring professional biographies for staff are up-to-date.
- Supporting the pitch process by coordinating with teams across the firm and leading on drafting, follow-up, and tracking within our CRM system for designated opportunities.
- Developing and maintaining the Frankfurt client and contact database in our CRM system.
- Collaborating closely with Fragomen's Communications & Public Relations Director to cultivate relationships with approved media outlets in Germany.
- Managing partnerships with membership organizations and Chambers of Commerce to maximize opportunities, including profile-raising initiatives.
- Fostering strong relationships with colleagues across the region and the broader firm to identify and promote collaboration and continuous improvement opportunities.

This role is ideal for a proactive individual eager for a new and exciting challenge in a fast-paced business environment. Key qualifications include:
- A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in marketing and business development, preferably within a professional services context.
- Native-level proficiency in German and fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong writing and editing capabilities for producing concise and polished communications.
- A proven track record of engaging with and influencing senior stakeholders.
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a broader team.
- A proactive attitude and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Strong prioritization skills to manage workload effectively in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and deadlines.
- Familiarity with the immigration and global mobility sectors is a plus.
- Proficient computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with SalesForce, InterAction, or other CRM systems is advantageous.
About the Team:
This role will collaborate closely with the EMEA-based Marketing and Business Development team, German Partners, and other immigration professionals, as well as the broader Marketing and Business Development team across Fragomen's global network. Our marketing and business development function comprises over 30 professionals dedicated to providing comprehensive strategic support for the firm and promoting exceptional client service.
