Your Role:

We are seeking a qualified and accomplished Lead Project Coordinator with substantial experience in aviation or automotive battery systems and electrical power systems. In this role, you will report to the Head of Project Management - Energy and will be responsible for the successful execution of projects within the Energy Integrated Project Team (IPT).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the program delivery process for your designated scope, ensuring alignment and documentation of project objectives throughout the development cycle.
  • Evaluate project impacts and communicate clear recommendations to the Head of Project Management.
  • Provide insights on technical decisions to account for project implications and risks, including industrialization, schedule, and cost considerations.
  • Translate project objectives into measurable and achievable deliverables, managing these with the team to ensure timely delivery.
  • Facilitate the rapid resolution of delivery obstacles through active participation in team and program escalation sessions.
  • Lead delivery-related meetings such as planning reviews and retrospectives.
  • Develop, manage, and deliver the project schedule, paying close attention to interdependencies and deliverables across teams and suppliers.
  • Act as an early warning system for non-delivered handoffs and materializing risks and opportunities.
  • Proactively manage risks and opportunities, ensuring that mitigation strategies are well-planned.
  • Ensure adherence to the Change Control process by the team and support its administration.

About You:

We are looking for a credible team player and strong communicator with proven project management experience, ideally holding relevant qualifications such as PMP. Experience in delivering projects within an aerospace or similarly complex environment is essential, and expertise in battery systems development, production, or testing would be advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable skills in project management fundamentals, including scheduling, risk management, estimation, communication, and budget/resource management.
  • Evidence of successfully managing a complex technology development project through major phases such as development, prototyping, verification, or industrialization.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to challenge assumptions, think creatively when faced with challenges, and adopt a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn, adaptable to a highly complex and fast-paced working environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; fluency in German is a plus.
