Project Director (f/m/d) - Grid Access

About the Role

As a Project Director at Siemens Energy, you will be responsible for managing large EPC projects in the HVDC Grid Access Business. This includes overseeing the project from design to commissioning, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure successful project delivery
  • Lead a team of project managers and engineers to ensure effective project execution
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project risks
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure customer requirements are met and expectations are exceeded
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and standards

Requirements

  • University degree in electrical engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the energy sector
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Business fluent English and German language skills
  • Ability to travel extensively
