Join Vestas as a Service Technician (m/w/d) in the Large Component Replacement Team

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Technician (m/w/d) to join our team at Vestas. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on our wind turbines, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on wind turbines, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of components
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve maintenance and repair objectives
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless execution of maintenance and repair tasks
  • Document all maintenance and repair activities in accordance with company procedures
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance technical skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Relevant technical education or training in a field such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in a maintenance or repair role, preferably in the wind energy industry
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, with a strong commitment to safety and quality
