Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Team Leader to join our team at Schenker Deutschland AG. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for leading small teams and coordinating daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead small teams and coordinate daily operations
  • Ensure the receipt, unloading, inspection, sorting, and storage of goods, pallets, and cartons from trucks
  • Inspect and unpack technical equipment and verify for damage and incorrect delivery notes
  • Book inventory in the customer's own system for warehouse management and correspond via email and phone
  • Be responsible for achieving key performance indicators and take the initiative to improve quality, processes, and workplace safety
  • Unpack technical equipment
  • Install sensitive electronic devices according to instructions
  • Be prepared for flexible deployment at locations in the vicinity as needed

Requirements

  • Completed training as a logistics specialist or equivalent
  • Experience in leading small teams and training inexperienced employees
  • Safe handling of forklifts (driver's license required)
  • IT knowledge in handling hardware and software (MS Word, MS Excel, warehouse management systems)
  • Excellent team player and strong communication skills
  • Good English skills in writing and speaking
