Accounting and Controlling Team Manager

Position Overview

As the Accounting and Controlling Team Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting within our organization. Your expertise will contribute to the strategic management of our financial resources and the optimization of our accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Generate interim reports, conduct real-time analyses, and develop forecasts related to Treasury Management, Cashflow, and capital requirements.
  • Budget Development: Formulate financial budgets and forecasts while monitoring and reporting on variances.
  • Cost Analysis: Analyze departmental and product cost structures to provide actionable recommendations for enhancing efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Core Accounting Processes: Support and coordinate essential accounting functions, including:
    • Preparation of financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
    • Conducting tax audits in compliance with relevant regulations.
    • Management of debtors, creditors, and banking relationships.
    • Oversight of main and sub-ledgers.
    • Asset and master data management.
    • Coordination of inventory counts for assets and warehouses.
  • System Optimization: Enhance existing systems and procedures, implementing corrective measures as necessary.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare tax declarations and reporting requirements for various entities.
  • Consolidation Efforts: Engage in consolidation activities for European entities.
  • Intercompany Reporting: Facilitate reconciliation and reporting processes to headquarters.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with auditors, tax advisors, and banking institutions.
  • Regulatory Adherence: Ensure compliance with internal processes and support audits and examinations.
Qualifications:
  • A degree in business administration with a specialization in accounting or equivalent certification.
  • At least 5 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a focus on financial controlling.
  • A minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Thorough understanding of accounting standards and reporting practices.
  • Experience with financial reporting and closing processes.
  • Proficiency in office software, ERP systems, and accounting tools.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and integrity.
