Senior Accounting Manager

With extensive expertise in finance and accounting, you will work alongside your team in the Accounting & Process Advisory sector, providing guidance to our national and international clients. As a trusted advisor, you will assist our clients with various issues in the accounting and reporting domain, including transitions from local GAAP to international standards or adapting to new accounting regulations.
Your Responsibilities
If you are eager to leverage your expertise to enhance our Accounting & Process Advisory division, here’s how you can contribute:
- Support our clients across various sectors, including diversified industries, automotive, consumer markets, entertainment, private equity, and startups.
- Advise interdisciplinary teams on the implementation of international accounting standards (IFRS and US GAAP), corporate transactions (e.g., carve-outs), and conversion services.
- Assist in addressing complex issues related to national and international accounting, as well as preparing clients for audit readiness.
- Actively participate in enforcement procedures.
- Contribute to the preparation of annual and consolidated financial statements.
- Lead teams as a (partial) project manager and serve as the primary contact for clients on-site.
- Take on a supervisory role and manage personnel.
- Engage in various acquisition activities to support business growth.
- To become a (Senior) Manager (w/m/d) in Accounting & Reporting Advisory, you should possess a degree in business administration, particularly with a focus on international accounting, auditing, or business informatics. A doctorate or professional examinations are advantageous but not mandatory.
- You should have extensive practical experience in complex accounting and reporting issues and/or corporate reporting, either in consulting or within the finance and accounting departments of organizations.
- Experience in leading teams and projects related to international accounting is essential.
- Demonstrated experience in business development is required.
- Strong analytical skills, creativity, communication abilities, and a client-oriented approach are key attributes.
- Fluency in both German and English is essential.
- A willingness to travel is an important aspect of your qualifications.
