Our Hamburg location is pivotal, overseeing Sales & Marketing for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, while also managing essential functions within Global Supply Chain, Logistics, and Purchasing. The Langenhagen production facility is among the key manufacturing sites for the Imperial Group, offering a portfolio that includes well-known brands such as John Player Special, Gauloises, West, and Davidoff. Additionally, Reemtsma is a leader in innovation within the e-cigarette market through our brand blu, focusing on products that may present lower health risks compared to traditional tobacco items. Our operations also extend to the Nordic markets, managing modern chewing tobacco and nicotine pouch products.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated student assistant (m/f/d) to join our EVP Project Realisation team for a minimum duration of six months.

Your Responsibilities
- Assisting in Planning and Execution: Support the planning and implementation of all realization activities, from sourcing to market launch, for designated Innovation projects within the Ideation-to-Launch (I2L) framework.
- Collaborating on Realization Plans: Co-develop and share ownership of the GSC NGP 'Realization' plan, working closely with the Project Lead and PMO.
- Working with Subject Matter Experts: Collaborate with a team of SMEs to ensure successful delivery of project objectives.
- Supporting Leadership: Aid the Project Lead, PMO, and other Expert Leads in considering all interdependencies among Expert Plans.
- Challenging and Supporting SMEs: Grasp the deliverables and GSC processes of SMEs to effectively support and challenge their efforts.
- Promoting Project Management Best Practices: Advocate for Project Management principles and governance throughout the realization process.
- Ensuring Effective Collaboration: Work with all SMEs involved in the realization process to guarantee efficient planning and execution.
- Facilitating Project Kick-Offs: Organize initial meetings to define project scope, team roles, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
- Ensuring Timely Delivery: Collaborate with the Realization team to guarantee that activities across various functions are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Coordinating Documentation: Serve as the primary contact for GSC inputs for all stage gate documentation, ensuring accurate representation of technical, quality, time, and cost factors.
- Managing Scope Adjustments: Identify the implications of scope changes on the Realization plan and escalate as necessary.
- Supporting Risk Management: Assist in the risk management processes within the Realization area.
- Communicating Progress: Report on the status of the Realization plan to relevant management and forums, ensuring precise tracking of deliverables, budgets, and risks.
- Adhering to Guidelines: Ensure all projects comply with Project Management guidelines and align with GSC processes.
Your Profile
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in a relevant field.
- Available for 20 hours per week, with a commitment to continue studies for at least six months.
- Experience in Project Management is advantageous.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Fluent in business-level English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to provide clear direction and effective communication.
- Proactive with a focus on practical solutions and results.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships across various functions.
- Comfortable managing and influencing stakeholders at different levels.
- Resilient and adaptable, with a positive attitude towards change.
- Prior internship experience is preferred.
- Residing in the Hamburg area is ideal.
