Group Financial Reporting Specialist

Jobactive GmbH is seeking a Group Accountant to join our client, a dynamic and successful Venture Capital Fund based in Hamburg.

As a key member of the finance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for the group's portfolio companies. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a global reach.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB/IFRS, including commentary.
  • Participate in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and semi-annual reports under IFRS.
  • Consolidate domestic and foreign subsidiaries using LucaNet consolidation software.
  • Independently analyze monthly reporting from subsidiaries (LucaNet).
  • Develop HGB-compliant reporting formats and oversee the interface (LucaNet) with ERP systems.
  • Manage cash flow, ensuring timely payments and further developing digital invoice processing.
  • Stay informed about changes in tax and commercial law and integrate their impact into relevant areas.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of group accounting policies.
  • Optimize and enhance internal financial processes.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, ideally with a focus on accounting and auditing, or equivalent professional experience as a certified accountant.
  • Proven experience in group or annual financial statement preparation within auditing firms, tax consultancies, or corporate finance departments.
  • Familiarity with consolidation software (LucaNet) and strong IT skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills, independent work ethic, and structured approach.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative, international team environment.
