Research Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Specialist to join our team at NielsenIQ. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing projects to analyze and interpret spatial data, business-specific data, and statistical results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead projects that involve spatial and location-based questions, and present results to clients.
- Model and analyze spatial market data, including regional potential data, socio-demographic data, and purchasing power, at various resolutions.
- Maintain and improve our internal automation tools in R.
- Collaborate with our sales team to present and support sales efforts with content and explanations of methodology.
- Participate in agile and interdisciplinary expert teams to develop our methodological capabilities and product and service portfolios.
Requirements:
- University degree in Economics, Social Sciences, Geography, or related fields.
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in Geomarketing, Data Analysis, or Consulting is desirable.
- Knowledge of economic and business indicators.
- Proficiency in R (essential), processing geodata in R.
- Experience in maintaining R packages.
- Ability to reflect, interpret, and present statistical results.
- Excellent language skills in German and English.
