As a Global Commodity Manager at Nordex Group, you will be responsible for the global procurement and negotiation of hybrid towers for our projects. Your Key Responsibilities
- Procure and negotiate hybrid towers globally, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Maintain and develop commercial relationships with global suppliers of hybrid towers, driving cost savings and improving supply chain efficiency.
- Coordinate and manage sourcing and procurement tasks for new tower developments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement and supply chain activities, providing regular risk reports to stakeholders.
- Develop strategic partnership agreements with suppliers to secure competitive terms and conditions, driving business growth and profitability.
- Monitor and report on budget performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
Your Profile
- Technical background with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical, industrial, or economical engineering.
- Several years of professional experience in procurement, contract management, or a related field.
- Excellent knowledge of project and procurement management methods, with experience in contract negotiation and supplier management.
- Fluent English and German language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a matrix organization and prioritize tasks effectively.
